Clubhouse seats are located directly across from pit road and one level below The Speedway Club Restaurant, which provides excellent views of the gigantic HDTV. Includes elevator access, cash-bar service, clubhouse level restrooms and easy access to the 5th Floor Café.

In August 2008, zMAX Dragway was completed on 46.5 acres of land adjacent to The Dirt Track. The Bellagio of drag strips boasts 30,000 grandstand seats and 40 luxury suites.

It only happens twice a year—NHRA runs its professional categories in the Camping World Drag Racing Series four-wide at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and at zMax Dragway, its sister track in Concord, North Carolina.

It has hosted various major races since its inaugural season of racing in 1960, including NASCAR, IndyCar, and IMSA SportsCar Championship races. The track is currently owned by Speedway Motorsports, LLC (SMI), with Greg Walter serving as the track's general manager. Charlotte Motor Speedway is served by U.S. Route 29.
