Why it's done. Botox shots block certain chemical signals from nerves that cause muscles to contract. The most common use of these injections is to relax the facial muscles that cause frown lines and other facial wrinkles. Botox injections also are used to ease symptoms of some health conditions.

Initially, the upper lip may appear less defined, with a tendency to curl inward, especially when smiling. After the lip flip, the upper lip subtly rolls outward, enhancing its visibility and creating the illusion of fuller lips without added volume.

We currently charge $13.50 per unit, however, the number of units required varies depending on the person, the purpose of the Botox® injections, and the area it is being injected into. At Metropolitan Skin Clinic, our repeat customers who book consistently (within 3-4 months) pay our loyalty pricing of $12 per unit.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin) Botox® injections improve appearance by relaxing muscles that cause wrinkles. These injections also treat medical conditions, including migraines, hyperhidrosis, overactive bladder and eye problems. To maintain results, treatments should be repeated every three to six months.
