Use Your Mouse To Rotate Google Maps on PC To do so, right click and hold the mouse button on the map and move the mouse in the direction you want to rotate. You can rotate the map in any direction of your choice. Alternatively, you can use the compass icon in the top left corner of the map to rotate it.

There are 2 types of Google Maps on your computer you can use: Default: This is the default view. Satellite: This view shows detailed imagery, which includes both a 2D and 3D view. To enable the satellite map, click on the Layers/Satellite icon at the lower left.
